Job
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel
and responding to guest requests
- Assist
Housekeeping management in daily hotel activities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties in guest
areas and the back of the house when needed
- Document
and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk
- Communicate
issues to next shift
- Provide professional, friendly, and attentive
service to guests
- Maintain and uphold housekeeping departmental
standards
- Manage inventory of supplies
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow departmental policies, safety, and
sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments as
necessary to provide optimal service to guests
- Assist in laundry and breakfast departments
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Some previous housekeeping experience
preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable
transportation
- Excellent communication and organizational
skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving
abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability
to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
over sloping and uneven surfaces
- Ability
to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling,
and stooping
- Must
be available to work weekends
