Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and growth-focused Client Partner – Pharma to drive business expansion within leading pharmaceutical clients. This role is responsible for managing key client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering digital, data, and technology-led solutions tailored to the pharma domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, consultative selling, and managing large enterprise accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow strategic relationships with Pharma clients (Big Pharma / Mid-market Biotech)
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new logo acquisition
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on digital transformation, AI, data, and cloud initiatives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across R&D, Clinical, Commercial, and Supply Chain
- Collaborate with internal teams (Delivery, Pre-sales, Solutions) to craft winning proposals
- Lead account planning, pipeline development, and forecasting
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
- Stay updated on pharma industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
Required Qualifications
- 8–15 years of experience in Client Partner / Account Management / Sales roles
- Strong background in Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry
- Proven track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar accounts
- Experience selling IT services, digital transformation, data/AI, or consulting solutions
- Deep understanding of pharma value chain (R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with CXO-level engagement experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global pharma clients in the US market
- Exposure to AI/ML, Cloud, Data Analytics, Pharmacovigilance, or Digital Health solutions
- MBA or equivalent business qualification
