Project Manager – Healthcare / Institutional Construction (Hybrid)
Location: Hybrid(projects across Southern Ontario & Canada)
Salary: $95K – $125K package (depending on experience)
An established General Contractor specializing in healthcare and institutional construction is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team.
This is a hybrid opportunity, ideal for a Project Manager who can effectively coordinate projects, teams, and stakeholders across multiple sites while maintaining strong organization and communication.
You will oversee projects across Southern Ontario, with potential exposure to projects across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of construction projects from pre-construction through to closeout
Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to ensure project clarity and execution
Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with site teams and trades
Review and level trade pricing prior to issuing contracts and purchase orders
Lead project meetings, track action items, and maintain documentation including RFIs
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Review and approve invoices, ensuring alignment with project budgets
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Support conflict resolution and ensure smooth project delivery
Oversee project reporting and closeout documentation including O&M manuals
Qualifications
5 years of Project Management experience in construction
Experience delivering healthcare, institutional, or complex renovation projects is an asset
Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications
Familiarity with infection control standards is an asset
Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling tools
