Financial Analyst- Treasury Operations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Analyst to join a Treasury Operations team within a fast-paced financial services firm. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day treasury functions by accurately processing client treasury requests, ensuring proper cash management, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process client-initiated treasury transactions, including wire transfers (domestic and international), ACH transactions, Internal fund movements
- Monitor and reconcile daily cash balances across multiple accounts and institutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Client Services, Risk, Compliance) to verify and validate treasury instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all treasury transactions in accordance with internal accounting policies and audit standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports, including cash position summaries and liquidity forecasts.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding fund movements, transaction status, and treasury services.
- Support treasury projects, system upgrades, or automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting, treasury operations, or financial services preferred.
- Knowledge of banking or treasury functions and general accounting principles preferred.
- Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
- Familiarity with SWIFT, Fedwire, and other electronic payment protocols a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or treasury management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Kyriba, or similar) is a plus.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
