AOSP framework development—rather than consumer mobile apps—to power advanced
media, audio, and multi-display systems.
Core
Responsibilities
- Framework Engineering: Develop and modify
AOSP framework components to enable seamless data flow and system
behavior.
- Architecture & Design: Architect the
software stack, bridging system-level performance with the application
layer for a unified digital environment.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Collaborate with
teams on Linux/QNX BSP layers to support graphics, camera, and networking
systems.
- Engineering Fundamentals: Define coding
guidelines, manage CI/CD infrastructure, and lead system-critical design
reviews.
- Performance & Security: Ensure data
reliability, perform vulnerability assessments, and optimize multi-display
responsiveness.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: 8–10 years in OO software design/Android
development, with 3–5 years as a technical lead.
- Technical Depth: High proficiency in C and deep expertise in
customizing/extending Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
- Domain Knowledge: Expert in media systems (audio/display),
microservices, and layered platform architectures.
- Travel: Ability to travel internationally up to once per
quarter for stakeholder workshops.
