RF Antenna Engineer. US Citizenship Required

Full-time. Direct Hire.
Talentry is looking for a skilled
RF Design Engineer to work with our team in Poway to design cutting-edge
wireless technology including new-product development, prototyping, etc. The right person will use their experience
with antenna design, filter design, RF Test equipment, and radio-system
accessories for LEO and military applications.
Requirements
BSEE or similar and 5 years of experience.
US Citizenship is a requirement.
Proven RF Antenna Design experience.
Proven proficiency with EM-simulation tools,
schematic capture software, microwave circuit simulation, CAD modeling,
Genesys/PathWave Synthesis, and SolidWorks.
Experience with antenna measurement techniques,
covering Smith Chart, S-parameters, near-field, and far-field pattern
measurement. Strong knowledge of antenna design principles across a broad
spectrum, particularly with a focus on HF/VHF/UHF and sub-10GHz design.
Experience designing antennas for any of: handheld
radios, base stations, manned or unmanned ground/air/sea/underwater/space
vehicles a plus.
Experience with designing/tuning some or all of
the following: half wave dipole, full wave dipole, collinear antenna, dual
polarized antennas, vertical polarized omnis, horizonal polarized omnis,
dual/multi-band antenna, patches, sectors/arrays, concealments, UAV antennas,
hemispherical antennas, directional antennas, horn antennas, pcb antennas,
microstrip antennas, slot antennas, circularly polarized antennas, quadrifilar,
bifilar, GPS or other GNSS antennas.
Familiarity with RF test equipment such as VNA,
spectrum analyzer, and signal generator.
Proven communication and documentation experience.
