Seeking a senior-level Business Development Executive to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth across its full suite of HR and professional services. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role designed for a relationship-oriented seller who thrives on meaningful business conversations, long-term partnership building, and navigating complex, multi-solution sales.
This position is a hands-on, quota-carrying role and will always remain actively engaged in selling. While future leadership opportunities may exist, the successful candidate will continue to prospect, present, close, and grow business throughout their tenure. The ideal candidate loves the hunt, the conversation, the presentation, and the close—and wants to be a top individual contributor.
- Generate new business for by managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, needs analysis, solution design, proposal development, presentation, negotiation, and close.
- Achieve and exceed annual individual revenue and quota targets focused on mid-market opportunities (typically 20–500 employees).
- Build and maintain a strong, well-qualified sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined follow-up.
- Utilize a consultative, education-based selling approach focused on understanding client business challenges and delivering customized solutions.
- Develop long-term relationships with business owners, executives, CFOs, controllers, HR leaders, and nonprofit leadership.
- Actively generate opportunities through networking, referrals, inbound leads, and self-sourced prospecting.
- Represent at networking events, business associations, seminars, roundtables, and community events.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including relationship managers, benefits consultants, HR specialists, and implementation teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity using HubSpot CRM.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, client events, and company-wide improvement efforts as needed.
Base salary commission (ability to double base with sales commissions)
