Law Enforcement Analyst (Secret Clearance Required)
We are seeking a Law Enforcement Analyst to support strategic initiatives, operational coordination, and mission-critical programs within a federal law enforcement and defense environment. This role plays a key part in aligning operational execution with high-level strategic objectives while supporting senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support strategic planning efforts aligned with mission objectives and organizational guidance
- Coordinate day-to-day program operations and mission-critical activities
- Assist with risk mitigation projects and operational initiatives
- Integrate input from multiple organizational components into strategic goals and execution plans
- Provide expert analysis to improve program efficiency and effectiveness
- Support operational and administrative requirements across programs
- Manage and support compliance-related processes (e.g., deputization, credentialing, access validation)
- Assist with security and personnel-related programs including vulnerability assessments and high-risk personnel packages
- Prepare and deliver briefings to senior leadership on program initiatives
- Coordinate travel using Defense Travel System (DTS)
- Maintain property accountability and audit readiness
- Conduct acquisition market research and support development of requirements
- Coordinate law enforcement and Department of Defense (DoD) events
- Liaise with local, state, and federal law enforcement partners
- Perform additional operational duties as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of experience supporting law enforcement environments
- 3–5 years of experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Experience supporting mission-critical programs
- Experience preparing executive-level materials and summaries
- Experience briefing senior leaders, including Senior Executive Service (SES) and/or military leadership
- Experience supporting operations for law enforcement, DoD, or protection mission organizations
- Familiarity with intelligence and/or protection mission programs
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn systems and databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Experience with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) or Publicly Available Information (PAI) tools
- Understanding of cybersecurity risks
- Prior experience working within a law enforcement agency
- Experience coordinating across DoD and U.S. Government agencies
