Electrical Engineer ( Melbourne, FL ) 1519012 Month ContractPay rate: $60-75hr W2 OnsiteUS Citizenship requiredElectrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Responsibilities:• The selected candidate will work in a team environment within the Vehicle Engineering IPT and his/her roles and responsibilities include:• Support electrical wiring team group with their design needs, support manufacturing with wiring integration, route cable/wiring harness in 3D environment in accordance with NG Standard and MIL-W-5088 or AS50881, design and release cable/wiring installation.• You will be a member of a multi-disciplined team in the Vehicle Engineering Department.• You will be working with a team of engineers coordinating with multiple disciplines to determine solutions to problems quickly and efficiently.Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3:• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4-5 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft, OR• Master’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience in electrical cable/wiring harness routing on military and/or commercial aircraft.• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. But it is not required to start.• Self-starter who can work with minimal direction.• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS-Project, Visio).• Proficiency in technical communication, both written and verbal, is crucial.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a team are often necessary.Preferred Qualifications for Electrical Engineer 3:• STEM Degree (Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematical).• Solid modeling design skills (i.e., NX Siemens, Team Center Enterprise (TcE), CATIA, Solid Works).• Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.• Experience with designing and integrating components into larger systems.• Experience managing projects (schedule and technical performance).
