Inventory Accounting Manager

Overview

Seeking an Inventory Accounting Manager to oversee item-level cost accuracy, profit margin tracking, and invoice alignment. This role ensures inventory integrity and supports financial accuracy through ongoing monitoring and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate profit margins for all items.
• Monitor and verify item costs to ensure accurate pricing and reporting.
• Attach and match invoices to specific products for proper cost allocation.
• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Identify discrepancies and work with purchasing and accounting teams to resolve issues.
• Support month-end inventory reporting and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with store management to ensure consistent inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory accounting, retail operations, or a related field.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Great Plains (GP) or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
• Proficient in spreadsheets and inventory systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
