Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact AVP/VP Client Partner to lead strategic account growth and executive relationships across a portfolio of Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Consumer Technology, and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) clients. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding wallet share, originating large transformation programs, and serving as a trusted advisor to C-level executives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of consultative selling, industry expertise, executive relationship management, and experience selling Digital, AI, Data, Cloud, Engineering, and Business Transformation services into Fortune 500 organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Leadership
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic Retail, CPG, Consumer Technology, and DTC accounts across the West Coast.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite stakeholders including CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CMOs, COOs, and business unit leaders.
- Develop and execute multi-year account growth strategies aligned to client business priorities.
- Act as the executive sponsor for key client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive profitable revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling of Digital Transformation, AI, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Product Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Managed Services offerings.
- Identify, qualify, and close large transformational opportunities ranging from $5M to $50M TCV.
- Lead executive-level deal shaping, negotiations, and commercial strategy.
- Develop pipeline and forecasting discipline to consistently achieve and exceed growth targets.
Industry & Solution Leadership
- Maintain deep expertise in Retail, CPG, Consumer Technology, Omnichannel Commerce, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, Merchandising, Digital Marketing, and Data-driven Transformation.
- Partner with industry and solution leaders to create differentiated value propositions and industry-specific solutions.
- Drive conversations around AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, Customer Analytics, Digital Commerce, Supply Chain Modernization, Cloud Transformation, and Intelligent Operations.
Executive Collaboration
- Work closely with Delivery, Practice, Solutioning, and Consulting teams to develop winning pursuit strategies.
- Ensure successful program execution and long-term account expansion.
- Participate in executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions.
Market Development
- Build and expand relationships across industry ecosystems, analyst firms, strategic alliances, and technology partners.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, customer events, and executive forums.
- Contribute to thought leadership and market positioning within the Consumer Industries sector.
Required Qualifications
- 15 years of enterprise sales, account management, or client partner experience within leading IT Services, Consulting, Digital Engineering, or Technology Services organizations.
- Proven success managing and growing strategic accounts within Retail, CPG, Consumer Technology, or DTC sectors.
- Demonstrated track record of managing portfolios exceeding $30M-$100M and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience originating and closing large-scale transformation programs valued at $5M-$50M TCV.
- Strong executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of Digital Transformation, AI, GenAI, Data & Analytics, Cloud, Product Engineering, and Enterprise Applications.
