Overview
We are seeking an experienced Client Partner to lead and expand strategic engagements within the Semiconductor industry, focused primarily on major accounts in the Austin region. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of semiconductor R&D, fabrication, design engineering workflows, supply chain challenges, and technology transformation initiatives. This role combines strategic account management, P&L ownership, consultative selling, and executive stakeholder management to drive growth across digital engineering, cloud, data, AI, and managed services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Leadership & Growth
- Own end-to-end client relationship, revenue, and P&L for key semiconductor accounts.
- Develop and execute a multi-year account strategy and growth roadmap aligned with client priorities.
- Identify and drive opportunities across design engineering services, embedded systems, IoT/Industry 4.0, manufacturing automation, cloud modernization, and product engineering.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Lead all proposal, RFP/RFI, and deal-shaping activities for large, complex programs.
- Achieve annual revenue, margin, and pipeline growth targets.
- Collaborate with service lines (Digital, Cloud, Data, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity) to craft differentiated solutions.
3. Executive Stakeholder Management
- Build strong, trusted relationships with VP, SVP, CTO, CIO, Engineering Directors, Manufacturing Leaders within the client organization.
- Act as the primary escalation point ensuring delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.
4. Delivery Governance
- Partner with delivery leaders to ensure high-quality program execution, SLA adherence, and proactive risk management.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), performance reporting, and improvement plans.
5. Market & Industry Expertise
- Keep abreast of semiconductor industry trends including:
- Chip design (ASIC, SoC, analog, RF)
- EDA tools and design workflows
- Fab and manufacturing processes
- Supply chain resilience
- AI/ML adoption in semiconductor design
- Leverage industry insight to influence solution direction and positioning.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in Semiconductor industry account management, consulting, or technology services.
- Proven track record of growing $10M accounts and managing multi-year strategic programs.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor value chain: design → validation → manufacturing → test → supply chain.
- Experience partnering with global delivery teams in a consulting/IT services environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX with ability to travel onsite as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with major semiconductor brands (e.g., Intel, NXP, TI, Micron, GlobalFoundries, AMD, etc.).
- Experience selling digital engineering, cloud, and data transformation solutions.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
