What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector - Metals Industry position at Talento Search Group?
Talento Search Group has an opening for a Quality Inspector in the St. Charles, Illinois area. This is a direct-hire position and the pay range is $20-27 per hour, depending on experience. This is a 1st shift position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming, in-process and final products for all jobs
- Perform PPAP customer requirements
- Read blueprints and technical drawings
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other tools to measure tolerances and dimensions
- Perform audits and document inspection results
- Operate and set up quality inspection tools
- Calibrate inspection equipment including micrometers and gauges
Experience Needed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of quality inspection experience in a machining or metal fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints including basic GD&T
- Skilled with calipers, gauges, and micrometers
