Plant Accountant

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Plant Accountant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a direct hire position with a starting salary based upon experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly and yearly financial closings
• Manage the payroll and benefits programs along with company tax filings
• Oversight of internal and external audits
• Develop and monitor all budgets, forecasting, cost saving initiatives and reporting involved
• Ensure efficient and accurate accounting processes while meeting regulatory compliance by using GAAP

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of proven manufacturing accounting practices to include raw materials and finished goods (Corporate Accountant status highly preferred)
• Associate's Degree in Accounting (Bachelor's preferred)
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experienced with Accounting software such as Quickbooks, ADP, SAP, and MS Office applications
• Excellent communications and attention to detail
