Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000 (up to $115,000 max, based on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–10 years of experience in a customer quality role within a large Tier 1 supplier environment
- Strong experience working directly with OEM customers (not suppliers)
- Experience supporting customers such as Stellantis, Audi, Volkswagen, or BMW
- Hands-on experience with:
- APQP and PPAP
- Customer scorecards
- Change management
- 8D methodology and structured problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with VDA audits
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to support customer-facing quality initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role will act as a key liaison between internal teams and OEM customers, ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary quality contact for OEM customers and manage customer relationships
- Address customer concerns, lead issue resolution, and ensure timely communication
- Support and manage customer quality requirements, scorecards, and performance metrics
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D)
- Participate in APQP and PPAP processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage change control processes and ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Support audits and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
