About the Opportunity: My client, a recognized name in the technology space, is looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager.
This is a high-ownership finance seat where the right person understands how cost of goods and inventory accounting connect to real product decisions, and is comfortable working closely with product, technology, and product marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
- Own cost of goods reporting and margin analysis across the product portfolio
- Maintain and evolve BOM-level cost tracking to support product and engineering decisions
- Partner with product and marketing teams to build forecasts that reflect how the business actually operates
- Lead inventory accounting and cost variance analysis, turning numbers into a story leadership can act on
- Support new product investment decisions with clear financial modeling and return analysis
- Build and maintain rolling forecasts that give the business forward visibility across functions
- Develop financial tools and frameworks your team can use and scale independently
- Mentor two senior analysts, raising the bar on analytical output and business partnership
Must-Have Skills:
- 5 years of FP&A experience with hands-on ownership of COGS and inventory accounting
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with product, technology, and marketing teams to drive financial decisions
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, with the ability to build tools that others can maintain and scale
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business model environment
- Familiarity with Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A platforms
- SQL or Snowflake experience for independent data pulls
