Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Onsite - Augusta, Georgia
Salary: $80,000-$95,000 Equity

As Senior Accountant, you will contribute to financial visibility, technical accounting, and process improvement across a complex, multi-entity organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, billing, and variance analysis.
- Maintain ROU/lease schedules under ASC 842, intangible asset schedules, investment schedules, and marketable securities.
- Track and account for capital expenditure projects, including capitalization and ongoing project activity.
- Support financial statement preparation, including disclosures and footnotes, and apply U.S. GAAP to technical accounting matters.
- Support the consolidation of multiple entities, including foreign entities and intercompany activity.
- Manage assigned portions of the external financial statement audit, including audit schedules, work papers, and auditor requests.
- Review work prepared by other accountants and provide guidance to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support financial reporting, insurance renewals, and ongoing improvements to accounting processes and automation.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge.
- Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Experience participating in external financial statement audits.
- Experience with fixed assets, capital projects, and/or intangible asset accounting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and financial models.
- Experience working with an ERP or enterprise accounting system.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- CPA, Master's in Accounting, MBA, or progress toward CPA certification.
- Experience with consolidated financial statements and multi-entity accounting.
- Exposure to international entities and intercompany accounting.
- Experience with investments or marketable securities accounting.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, biotechnology, or other asset-intensive environment.
