As a Lead Technician in Los Angeles, you will play a pivotal role leading installation and programming for cutting-edge electronic security solutions. This opportunity offers the chance to lead projects, supervise teams, and contribute expertise to ensure the seamless integration and operation of advanced security and CCTV systems for a variety of commercial clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the installation, termination, configuration, and testing of enterprise security and CCTV systems with minimal supervision.
• Supervise and guide project teams during new security system integrations and retrofits.
• Manage project quality control while delivering exceptional customer service throughout all phases.
• Organize and prioritize workload efficiently to meet project timelines and client expectations.
• Interact professionally with colleagues, customers, and other trade partners to ensure effective project communication.
• Diagnose and resolve practical, on-site technical issues independently or via remote support.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as ADA, NFPA 70, and NFPA 101 in all installations.
• Track and report project progress, ensuring all responsibilities are fulfilled under general supervision.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience installing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video, and intrusion alarm systems.
• Proven project lead experience with end-to-end supervision responsibilities in commercial security installations.
• Solid knowledge and practical experience with IP network systems and electronic security technologies.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.
• Proficiency or certification in security technologies such as Pro-Watch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2, OpenPath, Axis, Exacq, Milestone, MaxPro, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha, Vista, DSC, Bosch & DMP.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with visitor management systems integration.
• Knowledge of locking hardware (ASSA ABLOY, Von Duprin, Adams Rite).
• Familiarity with video analytics implementation and configuration.
• Understanding of emerging trends in commercial security solutions.
• Formal training or additional certifications relating to security and fire codes.
