Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the intake and eligibility team
- Oversee client intake, onboarding, and referral coordination
- Verify eligibility for Medicaid, MCOs, private insurance, and private pay services
- Manage service authorizations, renewals, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies
- Monitor intake workflows, productivity, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with scheduling, billing, HR, and field staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Serve as the point of contact for escalated intake or eligibility issues
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in healthcare or home care intake/eligibility operations
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs, MCOs, and non-skilled home care operations
- Experience with insurance verification and authorizations
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Experience:
- Background in Medicaid waiver programs or managed care organizations
- Experience scaling intake operations in a growing organization
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in home care
