About Company / Opportunity:
This is an amazing opportunity to join a stylish and upscale boutique resort, known for its tropical-meets-desert vibe. The Director of Outlets is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and success of all Food & Beverage outlets, including the restaurant, lobby bar, pool service, and in-room dining. Key responsibilities include hiring and training staff, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, managing purchasing and quality control, developing programming to drive revenue, and maintaining cost efficiency and profitability across all outlets.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, mentor, and support Food & Beverage leaders and associates across all outlets.
- Drive revenue through staff development, upselling initiatives, creative programming, marketing strategies, and competitive pricing analysis.
- Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate service standards, guest experience goals, menu changes, and key operational updates.
- Manage leadership scheduling to ensure effective floor coverage and team support.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and Beverage Manager on menu development, quality assurance, and staff training.
- Monitor food quality and service standards by regularly inspecting preparation methods, taste, presentation, and temperature.
- Ensure compliance with food safety practices through consistent training and oversight.
- Foster strong interdepartmental communication and attend relevant meetings to align goals and initiatives.
- Oversee POS accuracy, equipment maintenance, and system updates; ensure team is trained on proper usage.
- Identify cost-saving and profit-enhancing opportunities through reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct competitive market research to inform pricing, promotions, and guest experience enhancements.
- Support the full scope of Food & Beverage operations, including special projects, marketing efforts, public relations, and promotions.
- Partner with the Marketing team to plan and execute F&B campaigns and create promotional materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout all outlets by assigning tasks and monitoring conditions during operations.
- Resolve guest and team concerns efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all parties.
Must-Have Skills:
- Capable of standing, walking, or remaining seated for extended periods as required by operational demands.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Toast, and various administrative, hospitality, and POS systems.
- Skilled in developing innovative programming while maintaining consistent, high-quality operational standards.
- Familiar with interpreting and utilizing STAR Reports for performance analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Effective at leading, inspiring, and motivating individuals and teams.
- Demonstrates the ability to internalize and consistently uphold service standards, departmental protocols, and company policies.
