A leading North American manufacturer of HVAC air-side products is hiring a Technical Applications Engineer to serve as the inside technical backbone of their sales organization. You'll be the person sales reps and consulting engineers call when they need real answers — fast.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting independent sales representatives across North America with product selection, application questions, and project-specific configurations
- Developing accurate, timely quotations for HVAC air-side products based on plans and specs
- Managing a live portfolio of project opportunities — following up, gathering intel, improving win rates
- Collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Ops to solve complex application challenges
- Working inside a modern tech stack: NetSuite ERP, HubSpot CRM, and AI-powered quoting tools
What You Bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience reading plans, specs, and technical documentation
- Background in HVAC applications, technical sales support, quotation development, or mechanical contracting estimating
- Excellent written and verbal communication — you'll be interfacing with engineers and reps regularly
- Comfort with CRM and ERP platforms; HubSpot and NetSuite experience a plus
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering preferred; relevant HVAC industry experience considered in lieu
Nice to Haves
- Experience supporting consulting engineers through the spec and design process
- Background with independent sales rep networks
- Project engineering in HVAC or mechanical systems

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
