This is a hybrid direct hire opportunity supporting enterprise-level financial analytics, business intelligence, and reporting initiatives within a nationally recognized healthcare organization.
This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Analytics. The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will partner across Finance, IT, Operations, and leadership teams to develop scalable reporting solutions, analyze complex healthcare and financial data, and deliver insights that drive strategic business decisions.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis, business intelligence, or healthcare analytics
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong experience with BI and reporting tools including:
- Tableau
- SSRS
- Power BI or similar visualization platforms
- Experience querying and analyzing healthcare and financial data
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- SQL experience preferred
- Experience working with Epic, Cerner, or other EMR/EHR platforms
- Experience developing predictive, optimization, or financial models
- Tableau or Power BI certifications
- Master’s degree preferred
What You’ll Do
Financial Analytics & Reporting
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Deliver executive-level reporting and actionable business insights
- Support forecasting, benchmarking, and strategic planning initiatives
Data & Systems Management
- Develop and maintain scalable data models and reporting pipelines
- Extract and analyze data from healthcare financial and EMR/EHR systems
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting environments
- Evaluate and improve reporting processes and BI capabilities
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and leadership teams to gather business requirements
- Translate complex business needs into scalable reporting solutions
- Support self-service analytics initiatives and documentation efforts
- Participate in enterprise-wide analytics and financial systems initiatives
