What You’ll Do
As a Surgical Tech, you’ll play a critical role in the OR:
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently
- Assist in cardiovascular procedures (CV experience required)
- Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts with RN
- Ensure equipment readiness and inventory accuracy
- Support patient transport and OR turnover
- Uphold strict aseptic techniques and safety standards
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or TS-C (NCCT)
- BLS or CPR Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent CV (cardiovascular) experience
- Associate’s or Technical Degree
- OR training or prior scrub tech experience
- CNA certification
