Responsibilities
Provide on-site respiratory therapy assessments and treatments for travelers and patients.
Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
Meet or exceed performance targets and contribute to pipeline-based planning for assignments.
Document patient care activities accurately for compliance and reporting.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
Demonstrate professional growth by pursuing ongoing learning and certification updates.
Update and maintain patient records, charts, and progress notes in the system.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to quality initiatives.
Educate patients and families about respiratory therapies, home care, and safety.
Assist in scheduling and prioritizing on-site visits to optimize coverage and outcomes.
Experience/Qualifications
Registered Respiratory Therapist with current state license.
Active CPR/ACLS certification and infection control training.
Experience in on-site patient assessments and acute care settings.
Strong documentation skills with electronic health records.
Excellent communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Proficiency with portable respiratory devices and monitoring equipment.
Ability to meet performance targets and contribute to pipeline planning.
Commitment to continuous learning and certification advancement.
Trip-ready scheduling mindset and prioritization for on-site visits.
Strong problem-solving mindset with process improvement focus.
