Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy

Travel RN – Endoscopy | Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy to join a hospital-based endoscopy unit in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for nurses with strong procedural experience who thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are comfortable assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30PM (start times may flex based on department needs)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians with procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, and other GI interventions
• Monitor patients under moderate sedation and ensure safety throughout procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and instruments
• Perform patient assessments, documentation, and post-procedure recovery care
• Educate patients and families on procedures and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license (Arizona or compact license)
• BLS certification – AHA required
• ACLS certification – AHA preferred/required depending on unit
• Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred
• Strong patient care, monitoring, and critical thinking skills
