Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the appropriate healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice.
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical observations.
- Assist providers and registered nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions.
- Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, RNs, healthcare staff, and other members of the care team.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
- Current, active LPN/LVN license appropriate for the assignment.
- Recent clinical LPN experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professionalism.
- Current BLS certification preferred/required if specified by the facility.
