Position Details

• Position: RN – Wound Care Specialist
• Location: Simi Valley, California
• Contract: 13 Weeks
• Schedule:
• Day Shift
• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Weekends: None
• Scrubs: Any color
  

What You'll Need

• Active California RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Recent acute care nursing experience
• Strong wound care experience
• Wound Care Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain if applicable)
• BSN preferred
  
  

What You'll Do

• Assess, evaluate, and manage patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Perform wound consultations throughout multiple inpatient units
• Evaluate and treat pressure injuries, skin breakdown, and complex wounds
• Develop individualized wound care treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and best practices
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and monitor patient outcomes
