Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
- Medical surgical or acute care nursing experience: Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform admission, shift and ongoing assessments for assigned patients.
- Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments per physician orders.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound care and drain management.
- Monitor for changes in condition and escalate to the provider promptly.
- Delegate to and supervise nursing assistants and support staff.
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning.
Salary : $59 - $61
