Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications per orders.
- Assess patient condition and document changes in electronic medical records.
- Monitor vital signs and escalate concerns to physicians promptly.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate accountability for personal performance and contribution to team targets.
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education for self-management.
- Mentor and support junior staff; pursue ongoing professional development.
- Maintain high visibility of work activity through timely updates and reporting.
- Utilize pipelines and territory awareness to identify high-potential patient flows.
- Current RN license and BCLS certification in the state of employment.
- Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing with direct patient care.
- Ability to administer medications accurately per orders and document in EMR.
- Vital signs monitoring with prompt escalation to physicians when needed.
- Participation in care planning, rounding, and collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
- Participation in quality improvement projects and metrics tracking.
- Discharge planning and patient education for self-management.
- Mentorship of junior staff and commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Strong time management to maintain high activity visibility and timely reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
