Schedule
- 10-hour shifts: Night Shift
- 7on 7off
- Travel stipends for Housing and Meals
- Scheduled 2–3 weekends per month
- Schedule is as needed
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy – Required
- Pharmacist license (California) – Required
- 2–3 years hospital experience – Required
- Cerner experience – Required
- IV Certification (such as CriticalPoint) – Preferred
- PharmD – Preferred
- Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience – Preferred
- Process, verify, and distribute medication orders in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure medication therapy is safe, effective, and cost-efficient
- Review prescribing for indication, dose, route, frequency, allergies, and drug interactions
- Manage daily medication utilization reports and identify improvement opportunities
- Perform quality assurance procedures
- Participate in clinical rounds, unit-based medication management, and remote order verification
- Support all pharmacy-related programs and initiatives as directed
