Shift is 40hrs, 5x8 with varied start times between 0700-0830. General Nuc Med Department at Level I Trauma Center. Experience should include Hybrid imaging, SPECT/CT, Siemens and GE equipment, ability to multi-task and knowledge in advanced therapies would be beneficial; previous travel experience would also be beneficial. Arizona NMT licensure is required. May float between Campuses as required.

Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with patient safety and quality focus.
- Ensure proper radiopharmaceutical administration and dosimetry documentation.
- Maintain strict radiation safety, ALARA principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Interpret basic protocols and optimize imaging protocols for diagnostic quality.
- Document exams, prepare reports, and ensure accurate patient records and privacy.
- Track performance metrics, contribute to KPI dashboards, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with physicians and technicians to schedule and prioritize imaging workflows.
- Participate in continuous professional development and pursue certifications.
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and assist with maintenance.
- Collaborate in a team-driven environment while owning individual targets and results.
- educate patients about procedures, expectations, and post-imaging care.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with national licensing or registration.
- Experience performing nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Strong knowledge of ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
- Ability to interpret basic protocols and optimize imaging for diagnostic quality.
- Accurate documentation of exams, dosimetry, and patient privacy compliance.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and KPI/dashboards for performance tracking.
- Effective coordination with physicians and technologists to manage imaging workflow.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and pursuing relevant certifications.
- Equipment monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance reporting.
- Strong communication to educate patients about procedures and post-imaging care.
