You’ll be a key part of the lab team performing accurate and timely testing that directly impacts patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex lab testing as a Generalist
- Handle Blood Bank, Microbiology, Hematology, Chemistry, and Urinalysis
- Analyze, verify, and report results according to established protocols
- Maintain quality control procedures and instrument maintenance
- Communicate critical results and collaborate with clinical teams
- Float to other lab areas as needed
- Provide shift coverage if requested (no assigned call)
- MT/MLS ASCP Certification required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must have Blood Bank experience
- Generalist experience across multiple disciplines (including Microbiology)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical lab experience
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing workload
- No block scheduling allowed
