Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program: Required
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia: Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification: Required
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessment and develop an individualized anesthetic plan.
- Administer general, regional, monitored and local anesthesia as indicated.
- Manage the patient's airway, ventilation and hemodynamic status throughout the procedure.
- Monitor and interpret physiologic parameters and respond to intra-operative complications.
- Provide post-anesthesia care, evaluation and pain management.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia records and participate in on-call coverage as scheduled.
