We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will support occupational therapy services, help patients improve functional abilities, and collaborate closely with the OT and interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in delivering treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility, ADLs, and functional performance
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support patient goals
- Active COTA license in California
- Previous experience in a clinical, rehab, or SNF setting preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment
Salary : $1,701
