Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
- Assist physicians during catheterization procedures and ensure patient safety.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cardiac catheterization equipment and technology.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the lab.
- Document and report patient data and procedure outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
- Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
- Evaluate and improve lab processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics and patient outcomes.
- Certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician or equivalent.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Experience in performing cardiac catheterization procedures and monitoring vital signs.
