About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Java-based enterprise application architecture and a strong background in Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Hedge Funds, or FinTech.
This is a technology delivery-focused architecture role where you'll design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise solutions supporting portfolio management, trading platforms, risk analytics, client reporting, and other mission-critical business applications. You'll work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to modernize enterprise platforms and drive cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Java solutions
✔ Design end-to-end solution architectures across front-office, middle-office, and back-office applications
✔ Build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices-based platforms
✔ Design REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration solutions
✔ Drive legacy modernization using cloud-native architectures and microservices
✔ Define enterprise architecture standards, governance, and best practices
✔ Lead architecture reviews, solution validation, and technical design discussions
✔ Collaborate with business, engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams
✔ Support CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud deployment strategies
✔ Mentor development teams on architecture patterns and software design best practices
Required Qualifications
✅ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
✅ 12 years of Software Engineering experience
✅ 5 years as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect
✅ Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Enterprise Integration, and Cloud-Native Architecture
✅ Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and modern architecture patterns
✅ Proven experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems supporting mission-critical applications
✅ Strong background in Financial Services, Asset Management, Investment Management, Capital Markets, Banking, Payments, Hedge Funds, or FinTech
Preferred Profile
🔹 Technical Architect / Solutions Architect / Enterprise Architect
🔹 Strong Java and AWS expertise
🔹 Technology delivery-focused leader with hands-on architecture experience
🔹 Financial Services domain expertise is highly preferred
