Rotation: 21 days on and 7 Days off All equipment will be provided Must live within 1 hour of Wellington CO About the Role: As a Field Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting field equipment across customer sites in and around Wellington, CO. You will work closely with other field and operations personnel to ensure equipment is set up correctly, operates reliably, and is safely rigged up and rigged down. Your contribution will help minimise downtime, optimise performance, and maintain high standards of safety and service quality.
Key Responsibilities: Perform field equipment installation, setup, and configuration according to specifications and safety procedures. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic technical issues on-site, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Carry out rig up and rig down activities, including assembling, positioning, and disassembling equipment at field locations. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs, replacements, and adjustments. Document work performed, including maintenance records, service reports, and parts used, with clear and accurate detail.
Communicate job status, issues, and recommendations to supervisors, colleagues, and customers in a clear and professional manner. Collaborate with team members in the field to coordinate tasks, support safe operations, and meet project timelines. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a field-based role involving equipment installation, service, or maintenance.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues in the field. Proficiency with common hand and power tools used for mechanical and basic technical work. Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in time-sensitive, operational environments.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a small field team. Ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines consistently.
Valid driver's licence and the ability to travel to various field locations as required. Desirable Skills: Experience with rig up and rig down operations in industrial, energy, or related field environments. Background in oil and gas, utilities, construction, or heavy equipment service.
Basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems related to field equipment. Familiarity with reading technical drawings, schematics, or equipment manuals. Experience using digital tools or software for service reporting and documentation.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required). Vocational, technical, or trade school training in mechanical, industrial, or related disciplines (preferred). Relevant safety training or certifications (e.g
OSHA, HSE, or equivalent) are an advantage. Manufacturer or industry-specific equipment training or certifications are beneficial.
