Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments - these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call” time worked

Comments And Notes: 8H/week, 4H shifts Sat/Sun - 8H/week - flexible for days or eves -- BILH coversheet required at time of submission. Location: 101 Green Street Lynn MA - Psych RN needed for MALE PATIENT POPULATION IN DETOX/TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES- Sat and Sunday, 4 hours/day scheduled with flex hours -- WILL ATTEND ORIENTATION 03/23 AND THEN START ON THE UNIT ONCE CLEARED BY COMPLIANCE. Transitional Support Services (TSS) is a program dedicated to helping men by providing short-term residential support services to individuals in early recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction. Clients are provided with the tools they need to begin developing skills of daily living including goal setting, problem solving, and self-advocacy. Services include nursing support, individual case management, group treatment sessions, aftercare planning, and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. Provides 24 hour nursing care to monitor an individual's withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and alleviate symptoms. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during the one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Responsibilities Are: Records and reports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changes in patients safety status Administers medications to patients Collaborates with team in providing health information and maintains clients' medical records Responds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environment Assists with the admitting, discharge and transfer process Participates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plans Qualifications: Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Current certification in CPR Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not required Local and travel will be considered for this opening. Must be separated from BILH for 6 months in order to be considered for openings.
