Pre-boarding Specialist (I-9)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Role Summary
Responsible for I-9 processing, document verification, and pre-onboarding support. Ensures all new hires meet employment eligibility and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process I-9 (Section 1 & 2) and verify documents
- Ensure compliance with I-9 and E-Verify rules
- Audit I-9 forms and fix errors
- Support pre-onboarding and employee records
- Track pending tasks and follow up
- Work with HR teams on onboarding updates
- Meet deadlines and maintain data accuracy
- Keep employee data confidential
Basic Qualifications
- 4 years HR / admin / operations experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Preferred Skills
- I-9 and E-Verify experience
- Knowledge of compliance rules
- High-volume onboarding experience
- Workday or ATS tools
- Strong attention to detail and communication
Salary : $30 - $35
