Overview:
The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations, including material receipt, storage, distribution, and order preparation. This role ensures accurate handling of raw materials, non-stock items, and finished goods while adhering to established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log raw materials, supplies, and equipment from internal departments, business units, and external carriers (small parcel, LTL, couriers)
- Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouse and production areas
- Pick, prepare, and process sales orders, ITR (Internal Transfer Requests), and DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) orders according to SOPs
- Store, transfer, and distribute materials based on specific handling and storage requirements
- Generate cycle count lists and perform inventory counts to maintain accuracy
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and operational procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (minimum required)
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations
- Basic understanding of inventory control and material handling processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under close supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg)
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments
