Title: Legal Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)
Work Mode: HYBRID 14 hour (2 days per week- Monday and Thursday)
Location: Providence, RI 02908
Duration: 2 Months with possible extension
Job Description:
The Department of Administration, Division of Legal Services needs a temporary
administrative assistant (preferably with some legal background) to assist our office.
Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
• Answering phones, etc.
• Data entry (entering/updating legal cases in our legal case management system)
• Scanning
• Scheduling meetings/hearings
• Typing and sending out letters, etc.
• Records retention (sending legal records off to storage)
• Setting up folders for attorneys
• Various projects on an as needed basis.
• Must be a team player and be able to multi-task in a busy legal department
Qualifications:
• Prefer candidates with prior legal office experience but will work with the right
candidate.
• General office experience is required.
• Must be able to multi-task, team player and superior phone and email skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe
• Previous meeting scheduling experience a plus
