JOB SUMMARY

• The primary responsibility of this position is to act as the Graphic Designer/Technical Writer on project teams, attend meetings, maintain project schedules and update the Manager of the PHCS Documentation Department. Involved in the creation, review, revision and approval and publication of documentation and labeling for all Ventana Medical Systems products.
• Assists in the coordination and maintenance of corporate standards and certificate library management activities.
• Create and revise Interpretation Guides using InDesign.
• Facilitates project activities and internal customer support.
• Provides guidance and direction to technical teams as needed.
• Serves as an interface between project teams and Technical Documentation Department, acts as liaison to project leader, conducts formal meetings, track project status and resolves any communication barriers.
• Uses desktop publishing tools (InDesign)skillfully to produce efficient and accurate documentation.
• Ensure all design outputs align with corporate standards and meet all regulatory requirements for new product launches and product updates.
• Facilitates the timely development, change, review and approval of documentation according to project schedules, including the resolution of resource issues relative to processing of such documentation.
• Communicates effectively with interdepartmental teams.
• Assists in ancillary services and interdepartmental activities or applications required for publication, preparation, storage and delivery of documentation.
• Maintains quality system compliance (e.g., follow processes and procedures as written).
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills
● Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or relevant field.
● 3 years of experience in graphic design within pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or FDA-
regulated industries.
● Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), and familiarity with workflow tools and project management systems.
● Comprehensive understanding of FDA requirements, regulatory workflows, and compliance standards.
● Superior attention to detail with demonstrated experience in quality assurance and
compliance-focused document review.
● Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing strict deadlines.
● Ability to work in a highly regulated, process-oriented environment while maintaining
professionalism and accuracy.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills.
● Ability to work with cross-departmental teams and all levels of employees
● Demonstrates high degree of initiative and motivation with the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
● Demonstrable record of working on project teams while working on multiple projects.
● Ability to apply process and business judgment. Ability to plan and organization work while remaining flexible.

Work Arrangement
This is a remote position.

Local candidates are preferred and will be required to visit the office 1-2 times per month for initial team integration and collaboration.

Interview Process
One to two virtual interviews, approximately 45 minutes each.
