Job Description (including years of experience, duties, skills, education)
- Conduct in-depth materials characterization and FA on silicon anode materials and battery cells
- Design and develop advanced silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to scale up promising materials and process
- Deep understanding of electrochemical performance metrics, degradation mechanisms, and material interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with materials characterization tools (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, Raman).
- Familiarity with battery cell design, prototyping, and testing protocols.
- Strong collaboration skills to work across materials science, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Bachelor, or M.S. or Ph.D in materials science, chemical engineering, electrochemistry or a related field
- 3 year of relevance industry or academic research experience
