Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 4 Months Contract
Schedule:
Standard office hours (8:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT), there is slight flex if needed. Onsite at the Irvine, CA campus on Tuesdays and another day of their choosing.
Job Description:
The main function of a clinical contracts analyst is to initiate, draft, redline, and negotiate 3rd party complex contracts based on full knowledge of financial, regulatory and clinical requirements.
This one is very straightforward; we really just need the contractual HCP and similar system experience! The team likes paralegals with pharma/med device backgrounds handling HCP contracts.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
- 5-7 years of experience required
- Prior knowledge of HCP contractual agreements and verbiage
- Understanding of fair market values for HCPs
- Work with ECLM or similar contract management tools
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite
- Experience with Coupa or similar applications
- Previous experience managing HCP contracts for clinical functions support
Skills:
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and ability to operate general office machinery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with the ability to drive the achievement of objectives
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Full knowledge and understanding of the client’s policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to contract negotiation and administration
- Full knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA and Sunshine Act)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide guidance on contract terms and conditions. Identify risks and key stakeholders to the company
- Develop, assess and improve processes for tracking and reporting business unit payment and compensation information to meet all applicable regulations and processes
- May track business unit and payment milestones against contract terms. Resolve payment queries and confirm contract compliance
