Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Senior Chemical Plant Process Engineer to lead and optimize processes in the production of emulsion-based polymers. This role requires a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles, process optimization, and a focus on safety, efficiency, and product quality. Key Responsibilities :
- Process Design & Optimization : Lead the design, development, and optimization of chemical processes for the production of emulsion-based polymers, ensuring high product quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving : Investigate process-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve overall plant performance.
- Safety & Compliance : Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and establish best practices for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Process Scale-Up & Development : Work on scaling up new processes from the laboratory to full-scale production while ensuring consistent product quality and efficient use of resources.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement improvements.
- Continuous Improvement : Use Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Technical Support & Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and plant personnel, sharing knowledge on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Data Analysis & Reporting : Collect and analyze process data to generate reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management for decision-making.
- Project Management : Manage projects related to process improvements, new technology implementations, or plant expansions, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
