Job Summary
The Loan Document Operations Analyst supports paper‐based loan documentation and post‐closing activities. Responsibilities include preparing and packaging documents for shipment, updating loan origination systems, processing redisclosure requests, and performing analytical refund and settlement reviews. The role requires attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and comfort working in a structured office and cubicle environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and process paper loan documents in an in‐office setting
Prepare, print, package, and ship letters and loan documentation
Update loan origination systems accurately and timely
Support Closing Disclosure (CD) review and related redisclosure requests
Manage and respond to requests received through:
Shared team mailboxes
SharePoint queues
Complete redisclosure documents and submit required requests when changes are identified
Perform refund and settlement review processes, including:
Reviewing refund settlement statements
Comparing settlement data against the assigned Closing Disclosure
Ensuring all figures tie out accurately before initiating refunds
Communicate with internal partners, including:
Settlement agents
Other operational teams supporting mailbox and settlement workflows
Maintain accuracy, organization, and productivity in a structured operations environment
Experience & Qualifications
Required / Target Profile
Prior experience working in an office environment, preferably in a cubicle setting
Ability to follow structured processes and work with physical documents
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Exposure to analytical review (e.g., comparing documents, reconciling information)
