We are seeking a Web Developer for our Homebuilding company who can take ownership of projects, contribute to technical decisions, and help maintain high standards across their web platforms. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting applications across local, staging, and production environments.
This role will be starting early January and will be 40 hours/week. Ideally this role will be through 2026.
This person needs to be located in PST or MST time zones. There is a preference to candidates in or willing to relocate to Denver, CO but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and WordPress
- Build modern, scalable front-end solutions using JavaScript (ES6 ), including Vanilla JS and Vue
- Write clean, modular, and reusable styles with SCSS
- Work with relational databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Manage source control and deployments using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Own development workflows across local, staging, and production environments
- Configure and manage environment variables and deployment processes
- Review code, identify technical debt, and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize existing systems
- 4 years of professional web development experience (or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency in PHP and WordPress (custom themes, plugins, and integrations)
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6 ), including Vanilla JS and Vue
- Solid experience with SCSS and modern CSS architecture
- Strong understanding of SQL, with hands-on experience using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
- Experience with GitHub, including CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions
- Deep understanding of local, staging, and production environments
- Proven ability to set up projects, manage environment variables, and handle deployments independently
