Job Description
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Senior Software Engineer (.NET) for our client based out of Greensboro, NC.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a firstshift Monday-Friday schedule.
This role is 100% onsite. Candidates must be local to the Greensboro, NC area or willing to relocate prior to or immediately upon offer acceptance. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new software features in close collaboration with product owners and architecture teams.
- Develop clean, scalable, and testable code using .NET technologies and C#.
- Build and maintain complex frontend application components using modern frameworks.
- Ensure nonfunctional requirements including security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability are incorporated into solution design.
- Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
- Participate in estimation, planning, and coordination of development, deployment, and operational activities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver enterprisegrade software solutions.
- Support adherence to IT service processes, development standards, and business requirements.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and bestpractice development.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to shared learning within the engineering team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience developing largescale, enterprise software applications.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, C#, and frontend frameworks such as Angular.
- Handson experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Logic Apps, Blob Storage).
- Experience working with enterprise messaging or queuing technologies.
- Strong understanding of domaindriven design, clean architecture, and SOLID principles.
- Extensive experience using SQL for data querying and extraction.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, fastchanging environment.
- Demonstrated interest in continuous learning, adaptability, and technical growth.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite five days per week in Greensboro, NC.
