The FactSet MESH program brings together different ideas, backgrounds and people with a common interest in the Financial Technology (Fintech) industry. We are looking for talented, hard-working and out-of-the-box thinkers who are interested in learning more about what it is like to be a Software Engineer in the Fintech industry. The FactSet Mesh program provides first or second year college students that have an interest in computer science with a hands on experience working with Software Engineering teams while participating in professional development and networking opportunities.
The paid externship is set to run from May 11, 2026 - May 22, 2026 in our Norwalk, CT office.

During This 2-week Externship, You Will
- Attend trainings on a variety of technologies
- Participate in professional development workshops focused on effective communication, presentation skills, resume writing, networking and mock interviewing
- Build your networking skills by connecting with FactSetters across various teams
- Enhance you collaboration skills by competing in a coding challenge with fellow externs and FactSet Engineers
- Network with diverse FactSet professionals and members of our Black, Latinx, Pride, and Women's Employee Resource Groups
- Meet members of FactSet's Executive Team to learn about their different leadership journeys
- Learn about FactSet's industry, core products, who our clients are, and various teams within our Engineering organization
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- Undergraduates graduating between December 2027 - May 2028
- Experience and/or interested in learning Full Stack Web Development, C , C# or other OOP language
- Excited about problem solving
- Ability to work independently while also being a great team-player
- Positive, can-do attitude
