Plans, designs, builds and configures networks, computer systems, and/or mobile communication devices, telecommunication systems, and management systems for the MetroHealth System. Researches the latest technology as it applies to the MetroHealth infrastructure and technological potential. Monitors networks and telecommunications systems for maximum usage and performance. Evaluates vendor proposals and vendor solutions. Insures enterprise-wide computer and network security. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
- May substitute work experience if deemed of adequate complexity and responsibility.
- Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Experience and/or training with data networks and network design and/or implementation (minimally utilizing Cisco router/switches, TCP/IP).
- Experience and/or training working with Wireless infrastructure technologies and Cisco.
- Experience and/or training with mobile communication devices, mobile device management systems, and wireless infrastructure technologies.
- With Microsoft operating systems and server software.
- Knowledge of voice protocols and systems such as voice over IP (VOIP), PBX's and IVR's.
- CCNA.
- Experience using Vocera, Amcom, Intellispace, Spectralink Phone
- May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating.
- May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing.
- Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
- Ability to read job related documents.
- Ability to use computer.
